Guided Healing
Peter Wilansky-Traynor began his career by curing himself of high cholesterol, Gastro-Esophageal Reflux Disorder (GERD), and Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) using principals of natural and alternative health. Armed with the attitude that you can heal yourself of any ailment, he enrolled and soon graduated from the Canadian School of Natural Nutrition in 1998. Peter first became certified as a personal fitness trainer through Canfit Pro in 2003 and furthered his knowledge through training as a back and core specialist through the Paul Chek Institute (2004-present). To round out his knowledge, Peter acquired certifications in aromatherapy (1999), reflexology, reiki (1997), holographic release work (1997), and metabolic typing (2008). During his schooling, Peter worked as a manager and marathon trainer for two of Canada’s largest running and training retail chain, The Running Room and New Balance. With great success in training and coaching, Peter decided to take his career to the next level by founding his own company, Guided Healing, in 2003. Through Guided Healing, Peter is able to offer in-home and office corrective exercise, nutrition and lifestyle coaching. His full, encompassing view of health has provided Peter with a personal designation of Holistic Practitioner. Peter’s experience and determination to teach as many people about the incredible benefits of natural health has motivated him to develop full day wellness workshops that he provides to the corporate world.
